Hello everyone! As per this assignment, my first post is to be about my New Years resolution, so here goes.
My New Years resolution pertains to taking better care of myself. This includes eating healthy, getting the proper amount of sleep, exercising, and meditating. I have been so busy and stressed with school that my self- care has really been non-existent. In this new year, I plan to change this and make myself a priority.
I think your new years resolution is realistic and very beneficial. College can be a very stressful time and it’s very important to take care of yourself. Good work!

I agree with you completely Courtney, as I have never faced so much “prolonged” stress in all my life; however, I am enjoying this time in college as it was at the top of my bucket list and I will soon be able to check it off! I lacked in the self-care department also, and at times the stress got the best of me. I have learned from that experience and I now set aside a self-care evening just for myself, which is Friday evenings. I would love to fit much more time in than that, but I’ll take one evening a week for now. Baby steps.
